SFC PASTORAL FORMATION TRACK
The following formation retreats are available following the Christian Life Program:
STAGE 1
NURTURE & SUPPORT
Covenant Orientation
Covenant Orientation is the first weekend retreat that SFCs will undergo after graduating from the Christian Life Program. This retreat familiarizes SFCs with their covenant as Singles for Christ, introduces the culture, mission and vision of Singles for Christ and inspires SFCs to make this a way of life.
Knight's Tale - Men's Retreat 1
Knights Tales is the first weekend retreat designed for the men of CFC Singles for Christ. This weekend's goals are to help men understand the true definition of manhood and challenge them to live as modern-day knights, ready to offer their lives for the cause of Christ.
Princess Diaries - Women's Retreat 1
Princess Diaries is an opportunity for our SFC sisters to experience again “the fire of great love” for the Beloved. This retreat aims to help women understand and appreciate their identity as a woman created by God, discover how their womanhood reveals God to the world and desire to live out their special calling as women in intimate union with Jesus
Christian Character
Christian Character Weekend will focus mainly on the following as essential in developing Christian character: our emotions guided by the Holy Spirit, our will submitted to the Father and our heart attuned to Christ. The retreat aims to move the participants to desire to have the character of Christ and commit themselves to working towards this in their life.
STAGE 2
STRENGTHEN & FORTIFY
Christ Pursuit
This retreat helps members take a deep look at our lives and the journeys we have been on. SFC Members will realize that no matter where we are in our lives, Christ has always been pursuing us. Once we start recognizing how all encompassing Christ's pursuit has been for us, we begin to desire to respond - to lay down empty pursuits and pursue Christ instead.
Intimacy Weekend
Intimacy Weekend applies the teachings of Saint John Paul II’s Theology of the Body to the lives of single men and women, many of whom are seeking for or are in a special relationship. This retreat addresses the questions: 1) What does it mean to be human? and 2) How do I live my life in a way that brings true happiness?
Christian Personal Relationships
Christian Personal Relationships focuses on the intricacies of the personal relationships that we form in life. The weekend is based on Colossians 3:12-14 which emphasizes the fruits of the Holy Spirit as an important part of our relationships. The six sessions of the weekend deal with the various situations and realities that SFCs currently face in today’s society.
God's Masterpiece
God's Masterpiece is an overnight formation activity for singles, aiming to help them grow into a deeper appreciation and love for their own families. It helps SFCs to define "family" based on our Catholic faith, develop a greater appreciation for the family in spite of ones limitations and despite of its imperfections, and grow into a greater love for the family by actively expressing Christian love towards them in their everyday lives.
Crossroads
Crossroads focuses on the exciting adventure of discovering one’s vocation in life. This weekend aims to accompany the SFCs in this journey of discovery and to empower them afterwards into pursuing their vocation.

DEEPEN & EMPOWER
Ablaze
Ablaze gives SFC an opportunity to deeply examine where they are in their spiritual life and empowers them to continue to live out their true Christian identity.
Made for His Glory - Men's Retreat
Made for His Glory is the second men's retreat. This retreats dives deeper into virtues, vulnerability, service, charity and vocations.
Women of Grace - Women's Retreat
Women of Grace is the second women's retreat. This retreats dives deeper into virtues, vulnerability, service, charity and vocations.
Christ Bound
Christ Bound focuses on examining the life that occupy most of our time and attention: lifestyle, career and relationships. The weekend is based on Romans 12:2 “Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.”
